Hi folks!
We are Darrel and Mackenzie and we are intended parents on a journey to starting a family together. As two cisgender men, the miracle of having a biologically connected child would not be possible without the selflessness and generosity of two women – one as an egg donor and one as a non-biological surrogate.
This site is intended to provide information for our family and friends to share with others in the event they may know a compassionate and caring woman who would be willing to consider being our non-biological surrogate. If you are visiting this site, we would be eternally grateful for your assistance in helping us connect with someone who is willing to consider providing this incredible gift.
For those who know us more closely, you know that we are both very private people and that this level of openness and vulnerability is a big leap. We have the privilege of being uncles of 11 nieces and nephews ranging from 2 to 17 years old. We are seeing them grow into these amazing individuals and we’ve seen our siblings grow into the roles of loving parents. This has made us wonder for many years – why not us?
The journey to parenthood for two men may be a bit more complicated, but we have never viewed being gay as a barrier to achieving our dream. We believe that together, we will make excellent fathers and provide a loving home for our future child. I also think that our dog, Charlotte, is a little too spoiled and could use a break from always being center of attention.
